Our Healthy Food Winter Menu includes delicious, nutritious recipes designed to fuel growing minds and bodies. Assisting Educator Melanie Ellis from Aussie Kindies Early Learning Torquay shared this recipe which has been a favourite with the children, and we’ve adapted the recipe so it suits a family-sized portion.

We want to share some of our favourite activities with you that we use to keep children in our centres entertained and inspired.

This Spanish Rice and Calamari dish is a winner with both children and parents and is a great, lean protein option. It fits around many cultural food restrictions, aligning nicely with Lifelong Learning Centres' Healthy Communities, Healthy World and Healthy Bodies programs.
